I trained at the London College of Shiatsu to qualify and attain my diploma as a Zen Shiatsu practitioner.

As a professional practitioner, I am an insured member of the register of the Shiatsu Society (MRSS) and also registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). These bodies guarantee professional standards of practise.

You can check my credentials with the CNHC and MRSS through their websites cnhc.org and shiatsusociety.org

One of the reasons I chose Shiatsu, is to help alleviate the symptoms of a busy and stressful life that people lead. I help to address the impact of those symptoms stress can cause like back pain, disturbed sleep, skin and digestive problems and other issues.

Zen Shiatsu has some techniques that can be recognised in other modalities, but it has very specific methods of its own to assist a person to maintain a sense of wellbeing.

In the last 20 years I have also trained in a Chinese martial art called Southern Shaolin Five Ancestors. This has helped enhance my awareness of self, and sensing subtle changes in others, skills which are used in Shiatsu.

"Sensibility is the capacity to feel,
recognise & distinguish the most tiny & subtle changes."
